Traveling Maintenance Supervisor
Highlands Vista Group is seeking a Senior Roving Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations across multiple sites. This role focuses on improving maintenance efficiency, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with company standards while addressing maintenance needs across various locations.

Responsibilities
Perform various maintenance functions including minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, and heating/air issues
Travels (sometimes out of state) to underperforming or short-staffed properties to assist in the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department
Completes minor repairs and improvements in vacant units to achieve market-ready status in a timely manner
Performs general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair. Assists with vinyl floor, cove, and wall base installation
Maintains equipment and monitor’s inventory
Assist with snow removal and seasonal upkeep
Assists with trash removal and keeping the grounds and common areas free of trash and debris
Performs emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance-related issues as required when in a community
Assists with emergency roof repairs and exterior siding repairs
Performs assigned preventive maintenance duties and tasks
Completes special projects assigned by Regional Manager
Fosters a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with residents, communities, and associated agencies. Works patiently, professionally, and cooperatively with residents and staff
Enforces and adheres to company policies, rules, and regulations
Preserves and respects residents and applicant confidentiality
Participates in training seminars as requested
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of residential maintenance experience
Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing industrial maintenance operations
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with high and low voltage systems
Proficient in using CMMS for maintenance management and scheduling
Experience with HVAC systems and programmable logic controllers
Appliance repair experience
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to read and interpret schematics
Preferred
HVAC, CPO, and EPA Universal certificate are preferred
