Responsibilities
Staff neurosurgery clinics and/or faculty practice as assigned by Chair and Vice Chair of Neurosurgery
Participate in the call schedule, along with clinical supervision of all Neurosurgery patients
Perform emergency and elective surgeries
Involved in the education of residents, fellows, and students
Seek out trials of new treatments for neurological disorders, participate in clinical trials, and identify potential patients for enrollment
Perform research as appropriate based on background, experience, and career goals
Qualification
Required
MD
Completed a residency in neurological surgery
ABNS Board Eligible/Board Certified
Able to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License
