Pure Talent Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers in a dynamic, cloud-first environment. The role involves overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications primarily using .NET (C#) and AWS.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers building cloud-based applications using .NET (C#) and AWS
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions on time
Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
Drive architectural decisions and actively participate in technical reviews
Ensure application reliability, security, scalability, and performance on the AWS platform
Facilitate agile development processes (e.g., sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives)
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience, including recent work with .NET framework (C#)
2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role
Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on AWS
Proven track record of leading successful development teams and delivering complex software projects
Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, IaC)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer)
Experience with microservices architecture, containers (Docker), and serverless computing
Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus
Track record of driving process improvement and adapting engineering practices for cloud environments
