Responsibilities

Oversee the lifecycle of research awards, including serving as the technical point of contact for award negotiations and monitoring award performance, compliance, and closeout

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including human subjects, animal research, and biosafety

Track award progress against milestones, review technical progress reports, and evaluate relevance of scientific outputs, including but not limited to publications, patents and clinical outcomes

Identify key research accomplishments and prepare written products and oral briefings highlighting significant research outcomes

Serve as the primary point of contact for investigators, acting as liaison with Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Office of Research and Regulatory Compliance, CDMRP program staff and stakeholders

Participate in relevant scientific meetings and in CDMRP working groups

Present updates and briefings to CDMRP, USAMRDC, and leadership
