Shopify Site Administrator
The Sam Tell Companies is one of the nation’s leading commercial Food Service Design, Consulting, & Supply companies, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Shopify Site Administrator to manage and maintain their Shopify e-commerce platform. This role involves keeping the site up to date, ensuring accurate product data, and collaborating with third-party app developers to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities
Maintain and update the Shopify storefront to reflect current product promotions, featured collections, and marketing priorities
Update and manage the homepage and landing pages to ensure timely and accurate presentation of promotions and featured products
Set up and manage customer-specific ordering portals by uploading and maintaining unique shopping lists for each customer
Upload new product and customer data using Shopify bulk upload tools, third-party apps, and CSV files
Review and edit newly uploaded data to ensure consistency in product naming conventions, categories, tags, and other metadata
Optimize product listings, collections, and landing pages for SEO by maintaining accurate titles, descriptions, URLs, meta tags, and structured categories
Monitor the site for data errors, display issues, or functional glitches and troubleshoot as needed
Work closely with integrated app developers and third-party vendors to resolve issues related to filtering, navigation, and other site features
Ensure all site updates follow established data standards and best practices for usability and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Experience managing a Shopify e-commerce site
Strong understanding of Shopify bulk upload tools, CSV file management, and third-party Shopify apps
Familiarity with website performance monitoring tools
Ability to maintain consistent data structures, naming conventions, and product categorization
Experience troubleshooting site issues and coordinating with external developers or app support teams
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple updates and priorities efficiently
Preferred
Experience working with customer-specific pricing or ordering portals
Basic understanding of e-commerce UX, product filtering, and navigation best practices
Experience in website design or development and familiarity with HTML, CSS, or other languages is a plus
