Responsibilities
Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
Lead various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
Lead the Development of infrastructure solutions for business applications
Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability to ensure optimal operation of applications and services
Identify and resolve issues related to DevOps processes and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
Collaborate with development, QA, and SRE teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Evaluate internal and external software solutions to meet target state architecture goals
Review and analyze high-impact outages to ensure proper processes and procedures are in place
Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaboration with the team and third-party vendors
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with customers and vendors
Qualification
Required
7+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent
7+ years' experience working with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub), Harness/Spinnaker & Release management
7+ years' Experience with either of Cloud & Container technologies: PCF/AKS/Azure/OCP/K8s
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is important for packaging and deploying applications in containers and orchestrating them across multiple machines
Proficiency in using GitHub Actions and other version control systems is essential for managing code and deployments
Preferred
Engineering and development experience on middleware messaging platforms: IBM MQ. Solace & Confluent Kafka
Hands-on experience with either of Cloud & Container technologies: PCF/AKS/Azure/OCP/K8s
Hands on experience with Automation Scripting: Bash, Shell, Terraform, Azure DevOps
Experience in setting up and using Observability/Monitoring tools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Kafka, Big Panda, Splunk
Should have worked with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins), Release management and Automation tools: Gradle, Maven, Git
Service Now experience a plus
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies (from a platform setup and optimization point)
Knowledge on database technologies: MongoDB, SQL/No SQL DB
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings)
