They are seeking an Estimator to play a foundational role in their new Charleston office, responsible for producing accurate estimates and guiding junior estimators while ensuring practical execution aligns with estimating precision.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of complex estimates across custom homes, residential communities, and light commercial projects
Produce accurate and competitive bids
Bring real field insight into the pre-construction process, bridging practical execution with estimating precision
Dive deep into drawings, flag constructability concerns, and catch real-world challenges before they hit the field
Lead in guiding junior estimators, refining workflows, and shaping how to bid smarter and build better

Required

At least 5 years of concrete / shell estimating experience
Strong field awareness
Sharp understanding of materials, methods, and sequencing
Proficiency in PlanSwift
Proficiency in Bluebeam
Proficiency in Excel
Experience in CMU, ICF, cast-in-place concrete, and elevated concrete decks
Ability to guide junior estimators
Ability to refine workflows
Ability to shape bidding processes
