Information Technology Manager
MS SHIFT is a fast-growing global SaaS platform for the hospitality industry, trusted by leading hotel brands worldwide. They are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to own internal IT operations while supporting databases, QA, and technical support in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Own internal IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user support
Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and device management
Support and maintain SQL Server databases (backups, restores, performance, access)
Perform manual QA testing for SaaS releases (regression, smoke, release validation)
Validate database changes, stored procedures, and data integrity
Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for internal teams and customer escalations
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on incidents and releases
Support security and compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise reviews)
Help scale IT, QA, and Support processes as the company grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years in IT Operations / IT Management (SaaS preferred)
At least 3 years managing technical teams (IT, Support, QA, or similar)
Hands-on experience with SQL Server and MySQL
Experience doing manual QA in a SaaS environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, databases, and systems
Experience providing Tier 2 / Tier 3 tech support
Comfortable in fast-paced, startup-style environments
Able to work onsite in NYC (hybrid flexibility)
Preferred
SaaS or hospitality tech experience
Azure SQL / cloud database exposure
Jira, Zendesk, or similar tools
SOC 2 or enterprise security review experience
