Senior Product Manager – Technical

The Customer Access team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to drive the transformation of developer experience across Mastercard, focusing on improving documentation workflows, streamlining onboarding, and enhancing platform usability.

Responsibilities
Defines and guides products—often technical—from conception to launch by bridging the technical and business worlds
Breaks down requirements into features and user stories, prioritizes the backlog, and defines acceptance criteria
Takes a long-term view, becoming domain experts beyond the scope of a single project
Provides engineering teams with a well-groomed backlog of features and user stories
Promotes reuse of product building blocks and drives continuous innovation for internal and external customers
Defines how new capabilities fit within the platform ecosystem and writes/prioritizes user stories to build new components
Surfaces commercialization opportunities for their building blocks and proposes ideas to product development teams for further advancement
Advocate for customers by engaging with them to understand their use cases, pain points, workflows, priorities, and daily tools
Understand the customer journey and user experience to help them efficiently develop, deploy, and scale applications across multiple platforms
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities that meet internal and external customer needs
Identify and track key product metrics—usage, quality, satisfaction—to inform product
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of software methodologies (i.e. functionality & limitations)
Requires little supervision
Developed leadership skills
High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills
Ability to train/guide more junior resources
