Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of laboratory automation systems for the purification process development group
Spearhead the integration of robotics and automated liquid handling systems into purification workflows
Implement automated data acquisition and analysis systems for automated purification platforms
Maintain and improve high-throughput purification process development workflows
Collaborate within the function and with cross-functional teams to implement lab automation solutions
Develop purification process development knowledge and contribute to pipeline projects
Mentor junior scientists in laboratory automation techniques and applications

Required

PhD. in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related fields or a M.S. with at least 4 years of relevant experience or a B.S. with at least 6 years of relevant experience
Ability to work as part of a diverse cross-functional team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
High level of scientific curiosity and innovation mindset

Preferred

Experience with robotics and/or automation in a laboratory setting
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to robotic systems, laboratory automation, or data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
Experience integrating robotic systems with analytical instrumentation
