Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, incident response, and SOC coordination
Manage and optimize security platforms across both cloud and on-prem environments
Oversee vulnerability scanning, patch tracking, and remediation in collaboration with infrastructure and enterprise systems teams
Direct application security initiatives, including:
+ SAST/DAST tool integration
+ WAF tuning
+ SaaS and API risk evaluation
+ Partnering with development teams on secure coding and design
Manage physical security technologies such as badge access systems and video surveillance
Mentor, coach, and manage a team of security engineers and analysts across infrastructure, security operations, and application security
Align security engineering and operational processes with internal policies, compliance requirements, and organizational risk objectives
Plan team workloads, support onboarding, guide career development, and create an engaging, collaborative team environment
This role evolves as threats and technologies change—flexibility and curiosity are key
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
5+ years of experience in information systems with security responsibilities
2+ years of people management experience
Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and collaborate with others across the organization
We're looking for a leader who balances technical depth with strong communication and people skills
Preferred
CISSP and/ or CISM certifications
