Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for customer issues involving thermal fluid systems and process heating equipment
Support the Service & Parts team with technical documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and engineering review
Assist with retrofit projects, including quoting, budgeting, and technical evaluation of legacy equipment
Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate equipment, support installations, or review retrofit needs
Perform FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) at Sigma’s manufacturing facility or external fabrication shops
Conduct installation inspections at customer sites to ensure system integrity and compliance with engineering standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5+ years with industrial process equipment
Knows things like thermal fluid systems, fired heaters, heat transfer skids, or process heating units
Must know industrial combustion systems
Must know electrical controls troubleshooting
Strong understanding of technical and commercial aspects of industrial equipment design
Excellent engineering judgement, communication skills, and problem-solving ability
Ability to travel to customer sites and fabrication shops on occasion (one week per month at most)
Ability to work safely in industrial environments and on active job sites

Preferred

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) experience - highly preferred
