Responsibilities

Develop and maintain risk infrastructure, applications, and reports used by the Risk Management team
Build full-stack solutions leveraging modern data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling
Optimize data handling and system performance through expert-level programming and efficient architectural design
Collaborate with the broader tech and risk teams to ensure systems meet business needs and are scalable across the platform
Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required

8+ years of overall software development experience, including 4+ years building Risk and/or Front Office analytics tools
Expert in Python or highly proficient in C#, C++, or Java with the ability to pivot to Python quickly
Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including memory management, concurrency, and data structures
Solid experience with SQL-based and/or cloud-native databases such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake
Familiarity with portfolio construction concepts, risk metrics (e.g., VaR), and performance attribution methodologies
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas to varied audiences
