3+ years expEPITEC is seeking a Michigan-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to support quality programs and provider engagement across Grand Rapids and the northern Lower Peninsula. The RN will deliver training and education to providers, conduct medical record reviews, and perform in-home bone mineral density screenings while primarily working remotely with occasional onsite presence.

Responsibilities
Research and resolve complex inquiries and issues from the provider community, delivering clear, comprehensive responses
Perform in-home BMD testing for members, as assigned
Deliver provider education (in-person and virtual) on topics such as new business tools, billing/coding, Health e?Blue (HeB), HEDIS, and medical record review best practices
Conduct clinical reviews with strong command of clinical documentation, body systems, A&P, and preventive screening guidelines; scan records as required
Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with providers and office staff
Support providers in closing care gaps (HEDIS/Stars measures)
Assist leadership with monitoring issues, projects, timelines, and plans for initiatives affecting providers
Research, analyze, and evaluate data to identify trends and emerging issues
Recommend, communicate, and help implement root?cause solutions to identified problems
Represent the team and actively participate in group meetings and discussions
Partner with other departments/consultants on provider visits regarding HEDIS/Stars topics
Produce a monthly activity summary and ad?hoc reports upon request
Qualification
Required
Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license (required)
Valid Michigan driver's license and a dependable vehicle; willing and able to travel throughout Michigan, including up to five days/week at times (seasonal variation)
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel experience preferred
Ability to attend and successfully pass annual HEDIS measures training per testing requirements
Demonstrated ability to execute each essential duty effectively and independently
Preferred
Knowledge of NCQA HEDIS medical record review
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); Associate degree acceptable with strong professional experience
Advanced skills in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in provider relations/consulting
Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable interfacing with employees at all levels and external partners
Ability to apply statistical inference and research principles to healthcare quality topics
Broad medical/clinical knowledge with the ability to translate concepts to the healthcare business environment
