Responsibilities
Provides financial administrative support, including bookkeeping, entering requisitions, account reconciliation across the entire department
Assists with managing and monitoring staff expenses to ensure the timely completion of expense reports
Supports the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management, ensuring that all expenditures align with approved budget guidelines and university financial policies and procedures
Assists with the preparation of financial reports and summaries for review by the Director of Administration and senior leadership
Assists with the development of DAR’s annual budget and audits
Helps to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies within the department’s financial operations
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum three (3) years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, excel and budgeting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with Workday preferred
