Associate Scientist I, Health Services Research

Responsibilities
Conduct quantitative analyses using nationally representative surveys, cancer registries, health insurance claims, and other relevant data sources
Contribute to study design, variable construction (i.e., develop, operationalize, and validate measures of exposure and outcome), and analytical plans
Maintain reproducible workflows, including documentation, version control, and quality checks
Prepare high quality products, including scientific manuscripts, tables/figures, technical reports, and policy briefs
Prepare and deliver presentations at scientific conferences and professional meetings
Contribute meaningfully to internal and external collaborations
Respond to requests for data from ACS staff, media, and the general public
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree or equivalent amount of experience and education in Public Health, Health Services Research, Health Policy, Health Economics, Environmental Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field
Expertise with statistical software, including SAS, Stata, and/or R
Knowledge of epidemiological methods and causal inference principles
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, incorporate feedback, and manage multiple tasks
