As a Buyer II, you will be responsible for purchasing materials and services for manufacturing facilities, ensuring supply continuity, and collaborating with suppliers to manage inventory and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities
Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. Adhere to standard purchasing business processes
Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier
Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand
Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
Drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) with support from Managers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
1-2 years of related experience
Preferred
A solid understanding of the industry's key business drivers
Good communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others
