The Learning Experience is seeking a flexible and reliable Administrative Assistant to join their early childhood education team. This role is crucial in supporting daily center operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting classroom staff while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Submit and track incident reports

Complete morning classroom audits, including: Bottle, pacifier, and food labeling, Attendance sheets, Changing station resets, Medication and topical cream checks (including expiration dates and valid paperwork), Crib safety checks, Refrigerator temperature logs, and First aid bag inventory

Manage the center mobile phone for bathroom breaks and staff requests

Track and support COR Advantage/Kambo assessments

Check and sign off on playground safety checklists daily

Audit and sign bus binders (State & company compliance) daily

Meet bus drivers daily at 4:00 PM for aftercare students

Audit illness logs and make illness-related parent phone calls as needed

File all paperwork by the end of each week

Verify hallway curriculum postings every Monday

Review classroom Documentation of Learning (DOLs) for accuracy and compliance, including: Photos, Annotations, and Crafts (if required)

On the first of each month, contact families needing paperwork updates within the next 30 days

Check in with teachers on COR Advantage assessments and Lesson Plans

Train and support new teachers on assessment platforms as needed

Required

Previous child care or early childhood education experience REQUIRED

Strong understanding of state licensing and compliance standards

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
