Principal Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities
Lead strategic programs to improve security posture, including redaction and prevention of credential leaks across Microsoft cloud services
Define program vision, strategy, and execution plans in collaboration with security, services, engineering, and compliance teams
Own the delivery of complex, cross-team initiatives that span multiple division
Track and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones
Build and manage program-level dashboards and KPIs, ensuring leadership visibility and data-driven decision-making

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, OR product development OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations
To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide either proof of their country of citizenship or proof of their U.S. permanent residency or other protected status for assessment of eligibility to access the export controlled information

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, OR product development OR equivalent experience
8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)
Experience leading multi-disciplinary programs involving credential scanning technologies and redaction methodologies
Experience with container security, especially scanning container image manifests for secrets
Familiarity with risk scoring models, severity classification, and remediation ownership delegation
Communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing across orgs
Ability to drive alignment and execution across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
Familiarity with security compliance standards (FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
Experience working in large-scale, distributed cloud environments
