The Local Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products between Greenworks’ production and warehouse facilities, ensuring timely deliveries and supporting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks and 53-foot trailers to transport materials and products between company facilities safely and efficiently

Load, secure, and unload materials while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards

Maintain accurate delivery logs, transfer documentation, and material movement records

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns

Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues

Assist warehouse operations as needed, including staging, organizing, and moving inventory

Follow all company safety procedures, traffic regulations, and operational SOPs

Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record is required

Experience operating large trucks and 53-foot trailers in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment

Proven ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials while maintaining compliance with safety standards and company SOPs

Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting, and basic vehicle maintenance awareness

Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accountability for timely deliveries

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams

Physically capable of performing lifting, pushing, pulling, and other warehouse or yard tasks up to 50 lbs

High school diploma or GED required

Positive attitude, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment

Preferred

Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory handling, or material staging

Additional coursework or certification in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
