Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of a team tackling complex technical issues
Uphold premier support standards and deliver prompt, quality solutions
Strike a balance between in-depth problem-solving and fast decision-making under uncertainty
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Track case progress and resolution outcomes
Debug system errors and analyze source code tied to proprietary material-handling systems
Document and conduct root cause analyses for persistent issues
Establish structured support methodologies and actively contribute to process improvements
Share knowledge across the team and facilitate technical training sessions
Propose enhancements to improve products or support capabilities
Aid in formal product certification and process qualification activities
Implement and test software fixes and new features
Present findings and solutions to leadership and external parties
Deepen your business understanding while addressing technical needs of clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as technical support, software engineering, or system controls
At least one year hands-on experience with PLC programming, ladder logic, or related troubleshooting
Proficiency in C/C++ application or diagnostics for control system software
Familiarity with SQL: crafting queries, performing data analysis, or resolving database-related issues
Experience interpreting electrical schematics or network diagrams
Customer-facing experience with a technical support background
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred
Background in automation or material handling technologies
Experience with Panel View HMIs
Programming/working familiarity with PLCs from Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, Lenze, etc
Competence with VFDs, electric motors, and industrial sensor systems
Knowledge of industrial network protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, Profibus, Modbus, etc.)
Understanding of software versioning, lifecycle management, and change control processes
Experience shaping improvements in support workflows or call center/KM environments
Exposure to Salesforce, SharePoint, or similar business tools
History of mentoring junior engineers
Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently
Comfort working across diverse, global teams, with excellent multitasking abilities
Aptitude for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement
