Associate Senior Privacy Counsel

Responsibilities
Advise business teams on compliance with state, federal, and global privacy laws for strategic initiatives and daily operations
Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements, disclosures, and policies, including AI governance and data use protocols
Conduct privacy risk assessments and manage mitigation plans; lead investigations related to data privacy and security
Counsel on cross-border data transfers and collaborate with global privacy counterparts to ensure regulatory alignment
Deliver privacy training, monitor regulatory developments, and support governance committees on privacy and data ethics
Qualification
Required
J.D. and admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction
7+ years of legal experience, including 4-6 years in privacy counseling (pharma/biotech preferred)
Expertise in U.S. state consumer privacy laws, digital marketing, cookie governance projects
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills; ability to work independently and prioritize multiple initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and in a hybrid office setting
