The EDI Analyst – SAP is responsible for end-to-end ownership of EDI processes supporting order-to-cash, logistics, and financial transactions, serving as the primary EDI subject-matter expert in a high-volume CPG environment.

Responsibilities
Own and support inbound and outbound EDI transactions integrated with SAP ECC
Monitor daily EDI processing and resolve issues to maintain stability
Build, test, and support EDI integrations, mappings, and translation logic
Perform root-cause analysis across EDI, SAP IDocs, and partner systems
Support secure EDI connectivity (AS2, SFTP, VANs) and certificate maintenance
Partner with internal teams, providers, and SEEBURGER to resolve issues
Support onboarding and ongoing integration of retailers and 3PL partners
Help ensure accurate data exchange for orders, shipments, and invoices
Support compliance with retailer EDI requirements and standards
Investigate EDI-related discrepancies, shortages, and chargebacks
Partner with Customer Service and Finance to improve accuracy and reduce rework
Provide SAP SD and/or MM functional support aligned to EDI execution
Support master data, configuration, and issue resolution
Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance on daily SAP needs
Support testing and validation for SAP and EDI changes
Monitor EDI and SAP performance, volumes, and error trends
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
Support audits, reviews, and controlled production changes
Identify opportunities to improve automation, accuracy, and efficiency
Support recovery planning and operational continuity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Functional experience required in SAP SD and/or MM
5+ years of combined EDI and SAP ECC experience
Hands-on EDI experience in high-volume retail or CPG environments
Experience with SEEBURGER EDI solutions
Experience integrating with 3PL partners (e.g., GEODIS)
Understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage priorities in a production environment
Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Continuous-improvement mindset and curiosity to learn
Preferred
Basic ABAP debugging or IDoc enhancement experience
Exposure to retailer compliance programs or chargeback processes
