NEOGOV is seeking an Accounting-Supplemental Instruction Leader to provide academic support for challenging courses at Ocean County College. The role involves facilitating supplemental instruction sessions, creating instructional plans, and collaborating with faculty to enhance student retention and success.

Responsibilities

Assumes a near-peer facilitator role to ensure the program's purpose

Attends most courses as assigned

Creates and writes supplemental instruction plans for sessions and collaborates with the immediate manager and instructors to ensure adequate support, and accurate session data

Utilizes various technology platforms and interactive learning strategies; inputs and tracks related data, prepares documents, reports, correspondences; distributes survey data information

Develops resources and outreach materials to encourage participation in supplemental instruction, as well as training resources for Academic & Tutoring Support Services

Required

Associate's degree or 60 credits

Minimum GPA of 3.0 with evidence of understanding of related target course content
