Responsibilities
Provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the College’s AACSB-accredited business programs and its computer science offerings
Advance academic excellence, faculty development, student success, and external engagement
Strengthen the College’s historic mission of economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and workforce preparation
Lead the College in building strong corporate and community partnerships
Expand experiential learning and research opportunities
Leverage emerging technologies to enhance teaching, scholarship, and industry relevance
Guide strategic planning, resource management, accreditation efforts, fundraising, and program innovation
Qualification
Required
Visionary, collaborative, and results-driven academic leader
Experience in strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for AACSB-accredited business programs
Commitment to advancing academic excellence, faculty development, student success, and external engagement
Ability to strengthen the College's historic mission of economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and workforce preparation
Experience in building strong corporate and community partnerships
Ability to expand experiential learning and research opportunities
Knowledge of leveraging emerging technologies to enhance teaching, scholarship, and industry relevance
Experience in guiding strategic planning, resource management, accreditation efforts, fundraising, and program innovation
Ability to position the Brimmer College of Business and Information Science as a national model for business and technology education within an HBCU context and in the global marketplace
