Responsibilities
Gathering and Analyzing Requirements: Business analysts collect and analyze data to understand business needs and requirements, often through interviews, surveys, and document analysis
Documenting Requirements: They create detailed documentation, such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, to clearly outline the needs of the project
Process Analysis and Improvement: They analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Solution Development: Business analysts work with stakeholders to define and propose solutions that address identified needs and align with business objectives
Collaboration and Communication: They facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to ensure everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals
Testing and Implementation Support: They participate in testing new systems and processes to ensure they meet the defined requirements and provide support during implementation
Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to intelligence analysts on various aspects of tradecraft, including project conceptualization, analytic techniques, and product development
Product Review: Review finished intelligence products for adherence to Intelligence Community (IC) standards, such as ICD 203, and provide constructive feedback
Training Development and Delivery: Design and deliver training programs to improve analysts' and analytic managers' ability to produce high-quality intelligence products
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the intelligence analysis process, recommend solutions, and assist in implementing those solutions
Structured Analytic Techniques: Apply and teach structured analytic techniques to improve the rigor and quality of intelligence analysis
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant intelligence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years of experience
TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
The ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey technical information
The ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions
Understanding of business systems, data analysis tools, experience with IC client databases and relevant technologies
The ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders
