The role involves preparing layout plans using AutoCAD, coordinating project details, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans for use in fabricating and erecting New Millennium products on large, heavy structural, deck only projects
Prepare deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD
Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others
Detail projects with multiple submittals and sequences with extended project building time-frames
Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment
Meet schedules for assigned projects
Other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Fluent with AutoCAD
Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings
Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers
CAD related degrees and/or experience
Preferred
Prior structural, joist, and/or deck detailing experience
