Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and design scalable MDM solutions aligned with the organization's data governance framework
Implement and configure the MDM platform, including data models, matching rules, survivorship rules, and hierarchies
Develop and maintain data quality rules, data cleansing processes, and data standardization procedures to ensure consistent and accurate master data
Collaborate with data stewards and subject matter experts to define and implement data governance policies, standards, and processes for master data management
Integrate the MDM solution with various data sources, ETL processes, and downstream applications within the shared platform environment
Tuning configurations, monitoring system health, and implementing best practices can optimize MDM performance, scalability, and observability
Participate in data governance committee meetings and provide technical expertise on MDM-related matters
Develop and maintain documentation, including data models, process flows, and technical specifications; and
Stay up to date with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in MDM and data governance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field
Eight-plus (8+) years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting MDM solutions, preferably with Informatica MDM or similar tools
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and master data management concepts
Hands-on experience with MDM tools, including data modeling, matching rules, survivorship rules, and hierarchies
Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter), and data integration techniques
Knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and scalability best practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management practices
At least eight (8) years of programming experience in software development or maintenance
At least five (5) years of experience in IT systems analysis and programming
Preferred
A Master's degree
Strong project management skills, leadership abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to identify and resolve issues while adapting to changing circumstances
Significant experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders
A technical background and experience in data and AI/ML projects
Functional experience with local or government projects in Data Services (MDM/R360/EDMS), Child Support, Integrated Eligibility, Child Welfare, Adult Protective Services, Juvenile Justice, or Health and Human Services
