Responsibilities
Prepares, builds and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridges, drains, retaining walls and other structures
Works from plans to build assemble, fit together, align, plumb and set in place forms for molding various types of structures
Constructs forms for placement of concrete and structures
Checks forms while concrete is being placed
Assists and directs other stripping forms after concrete is placed
Installs miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures
Installs precast concrete elements
Install wooden and metal railings and decking
Ensures workplace safety by maintaining clean work areas and identifying potential safety hazards
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of experience as a Carpenter working on Heavy Civil projects
Ability to read plans and blueprints
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions
Must pass drug test
