Responsibilities
Lead the tax department, providing strategic direction and guidance to a team of tax professionals
Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients, offering expert advice on complex tax matters and ensuring client satisfaction
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions while adhering to tax laws and regulations
Conduct research on tax laws, stay updated on changes, and provide guidance to the team and clients
Collaborate with other departments to offer comprehensive client solutions and cross-functional expertise
Mentor and coach team members, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional development
Continuously improve tax processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
CPA License is mandatory
Must currently be working in a CPA firm
Extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and consulting within a professional services environment
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively
In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing tax laws and regulations and provide innovative tax solutions
