Responsibilities
Tend or operate one or more plastic molding machines running manual, semi-automatic; or automatic cycle. When tending automatic cycle machines, multiple machine coverage will be required if time permits. As required remove and grind runners and sprues
Visually inspect and sort all parts to a predetermined quality level for flaws. Performs operator inspections per Work Instruction. Provide production parts to quality personnel for inspection purposes
Assemble and/or finish parts by hand or using various equipment
Move containers with finished goods to staging/receiving area
Maintain work area in an orderly manner and to be free from unnecessary material. May empty trash
Report all machine, equipment, production or processing problems to the supervisor or qualified personnel
Actively assist in training others as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working towards or have received a High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18+ years old
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to see different colors
Preferred
Experience in production and/or the manufacturing industry
