Sr Production Manager - 2nd Shift - Dardanelle, AR
Tyson Foods is a leading food company, and they are seeking a Senior Production Manager for their 2nd shift operations in Dardanelle, AR. The role is responsible for managing production supervisors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating operations to meet production goals while controlling expenses.

Responsibilities
Assist in controlling expenses
Provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements
Interpret and enforce company policies
Maintain non-union program
Assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations
Prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately
Solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up
Work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product
Inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety
Manage evaluate and train production supervisors
Oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager
Qualification
Required
High School diploma with equivalent experience
5 plus years of related industry experience
5 plus years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility
knowledge of OSHA USDA and HAACP regulations
Standard computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Leader problem solver team player
Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise team members in the plant
carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws
interview hire and train team members
plan assign and direct work
monitor and appraise work performance
reward coach counsel and discipline team members
address complaints and resolve problems
Lead people by example
accept and delegate responsibility
display sound judgment and decision making skills
problem solve in an efficient manner with sound follow up
strong managerial skills necessary
excellent safety and attendance records
Ability to work with department heads to meet safety production and quality yields and meet goals
