Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietors
Prepare financial statements and perform general accounting functions with accuracy and timeliness
Provide expert tax advice and planning to help clients minimize liabilities and maximize financial performance
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial guidance
Stay current with federal and state tax laws, ensuring all filings are compliant and up-to-date
Collaborate with internal team members to support bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting operations
Deliver exceptional client service, building long-term professional relationships built on trust and reliability
Qualification
Required
Active CPA or EA license (required)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in tax preparation and financial statement preparation
Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under tight deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional, fast-paced office environment
Preferred
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero (experience preferred)
