Responsibilities
Research, investigate, write, and present meaningful and timely stories for station newscasts that can be used across multiple platforms
Engaging with local community members
Reviewing material for fairness, accuracy, and balance
Work closely with all members of the news team, which would include Producers, Editors, Anchors, News Management, etc
Qualification
Required
Proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems
Excel in storytelling across multiple platforms
Strong writing and copy-editing skills are a must
4 years of experience as a Multimedia Journalist
Ability to produce breaking news segments independently
Must be able to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Preferred
Live Desk- or similar- experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field preferred
