Required

Two years of experience as a collector for a financial institution or loan company
Some college coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position

Preferred

At least one year of experience in utility collections
Background providing customer service in a fast-paced environment, both over the phone and in person
Hands-on experience with Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) systems
Previous utility industry experience
Accounts Receivable and reconciliations experience
Experience processing, maintaining, and auditing confidential documentation
Experience conducting research and performing audits
Experience working with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access
