System Administrator (Linux) - U.S. Citizenship Required
CGI is one of the top 5 largest global IT companies, and they are currently seeking a Linux System Administrator for their Federal organization to support the DHS CDM DEFEND program. The role involves designing and executing cloud architecture blueprints and creating automated solutions for enterprise cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
AWS Administration: 3 to 4 years of experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and using automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
CI/CD Pipelines: Experience working with automated CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshooting Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems
Security and Compliance: Familiarity with STIGs and the ability to apply STIGs to cloud images
Directory Services: Experience with Active Directory and LDAP
Cryptography: Knowledge of PKI Infrastructure and cryptographic certificates
Patch Management: Experience with patch management systems, including WSUS
Service Configuration: Three or more years of experience configuring and maintaining services such as SFTP, SMTP, and NTP
Qualification
Required
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance
5-7 years of experience Unix system administration
Proficiency in Linux systems troubleshooting
Experience in patch management
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus
Security best practices (IAM hardening, encryption, patching, vulnerability management)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
