Responsibilities
Execute RFQs/RFIs and process purchase requisitions for a wide range of materials and services
Conduct thorough price and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
Work with suppliers to address and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing
Enter and update purchase orders accurately and promptly
Manage supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and track cost savings
Oversee the quality of purchased materials and manage Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in procurement or subcontracts
Ability to read and interpret drawings of mechanical parts and cables/harnesses
Proficiency in M1 or similar ERP software
Ability to cut purchase orders, read Bills of Materials (BOMs), Mechanical drawing and comprehending material requirements
