Responsibilities

Apply advanced analytical methods and tools to ensure that airplane structures—metallic and composite—meet all strength, durability, and safety requirements throughout the aircraft’s lifecycle
Coordinate with multi‑discipline teams to support structural design, load validation, and certification activities for multiple structural commodities

Required

12+ years of related work experience in aircraft structural analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor's + 12 years, Master's + 10 years, PhD + 8 years)
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
Proven expertise in structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite airframe structures
Demonstrated ability to support design, finite element analysis, simulation, and engineering documentation
Strong coordination and communication skills for interdisciplinary engineering collaboration

Preferred

Experience with airplane certification requirements and documentation to support regulatory compliance
Knowledge of structural commodities including fuselage, wing/empennage, propulsion support, interior stress, or seat stress
Familiarity with industry‑leading analysis tools and simulation software
Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within a structural engineering team
