Conduct scholarly activity, with publications in quality peer reviewed journals
Offer services to the school, university, and community
Mentor traditional undergraduate students interested in accounting
Supervise/conduct related field research

Qualification

Doctorate in AccountingCurrent research in AccountingTeaching undergraduate coursesTeaching graduate coursesAssessment skillsAdvising skillsMentoring students

Required

Doctorate degree in Accounting with appropriate current research in the field
Candidates who are ABD status will be considered if they will complete their PhD prior to employment
Ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate accounting courses
Experience with scholarly activity, including publications in quality peer reviewed journals
Skills in the assessment, advising, and mentoring of learners
Ability to deal effectively with individual differences in ability, personality, and interests
