Responsibilities

Analyze data movement challenges of future AI accelerators
Develop solutions to reduce data movement bottlenecks and energy consumption
Influence future DRAM technology directions to improve the efficiency of AI accelerators
Work closely with other team members to maximize impact and to guide junior researchers

Qualification

DRAMMemory technologiesGPU architectureAI accelerator architecturePerformance modelingPython programmingC programmingC++ programmingResearch project leadershipUnderstanding AI workloadsMentoring

Required

Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field
5+ years post-graduation experience in a research setting
Demonstrated track record of leading research projects in computer architecture
Strong fundamentals on memory systems, interconnects, accelerator architecture, AI workloads, and performance modeling

Preferred

Deep expertise in DRAM and memory technologies and/or on-chip interconnection networks
Strong fundamentals in GPU and AI accelerator architecture
Solid understanding of modern AI workloads
Experience with architectural performance and power modeling
Demonstrated track record of successful research project leadership
Solid programming skills in Python, C, or C++
