The Account Manager will focus on the growth and increase in production of already onboarded agents by enhancing their knowledge of appointed carriers and driving consistent production through agency relationships.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned Agencies

Regularly schedule and coordinate agent training on an individual basis

Achieve and exceed set sales targets

Leverage cross-sale opportunities with your assigned agents

Collaborate with the team to develop and execute best practices

Use data driven approaches to identify opportunities for growth

Collect and communicate feedback from training sessions to drive improvements

Responsible for the knowledge of all Carrier Markets and Products, Commission Structure, and Appointments

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of P&C experience including working with Independent Agents

Experience training and developing agency staff

Must demonstrate ability to problem solve and communicate effectively

Must be able to understand and review agency qualifications for appointments and make recommendations on appointments

Experience selling and marketing P&C personal lines and commercial lines

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills including conducting formal presentations for small and large groups

Self motivated; ability to collaborate is a must, but you must be able to work autonomously and are expected to succeed without heavy direction

Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to problem solve

Flexible and willing to do what is needed to get great work done

Preferred

TDI P&C license and CPCU and/or CIC designation is desirable
