Responsibilities
The Project Engineer is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goal
The project engineer is the responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives
Key project management responsibilities include creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the constraints of the project management triangle, which are cost, time, scope, and quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline with 0-2 years of experience
Process improvement skills
Strong planning and organization, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solution
Good general business skills, high degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness and business ethics
High degree of self-motivation, commitment and integrity
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to write reports and make presentations on operational and technical issues
Must have basic knowledge in the use of the following tools: Microsoft Project (EPPM), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Clinical applications, CMMS systems)
Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blue prints
Valid driver's license required
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience in designing and implementing business processes that mitigate compliance, regulatory, and legal risks in a hospital environment
Experience managing revenue generating projects
Previous Healthcare experience in managing and servicing general and complex medical equipment
