Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with affiliated faculty and staff to assess, pursue, and manage the following: external grant opportunities, international partnerships, agreements, and grants sponsored programs in support of Global Education

Works collaboratively with KSU Office of Research staff and contract grant writers to address pre- and post-award development and reporting requirements for both new and existing grant programs

Manages program logistics for department initiatives, including contract negotiations with service providers and manages program budgets when applicable

Conducts research on key program elements, including cultural components and program participants and guests, prior to program implementation to positively impact the success rate

Oversees the student Global Ambassador program, in collaboration with Global Education program staff

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Three (3) years of related work experience

Knowledge and skills of the grant development process, including pre-and post-award development and reporting requirements for both new and existing grant programs

Hands-on experience with budgeting, planning, and scheduling

Able to think strategically and creatively

Knowledge of international programming and international education initiatives
