Responsibilities
Design system and size components; develop P&ID
Develop Cost Estimate for proposals
Assist sales team in preparation and, if requested, presentation of final project proposal
Prepare and oversee project documentation, including spec sheets, O&M manuals, and validation documents, as applicable
Manage customer submittals, including support drawings and specifications
Work with designers to produce detailed engineering
Serve as a project manager for awarded projects
Maintain project schedule and budget
Conduct project review and evaluation
Identify opportunities for and drive continuous process improvements, including product and system standardization, standard operating procedures, and engineering standards
Identify potential issues and drive resolution to ensure schedules and budgets are met
Set up and maintain customer contracts, jobs and services
Prepare and issue quotes and account renewals; follow-up through issuance of purchase orders
Track and generate reports of business segment profitability including cost analysis of services and projects
Schedule service, prepare service orders, and perform the billings
Handle customer calls and coordinate service schedule with service technicians
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience engineering
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects
Preferred
Previous customer relations experience preferred
Previous equipment design or operating experience preferred
