Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize their cloud systems. In this role, you will provision, configure, and maintain cloud solutions, focusing on automation, security, and operational excellence while collaborating with the IT team.

Responsibilities

Provision and configure cloud systems, primarily using Microsoft Azure
Manage device enrollment, compliance, and endpoint security with Microsoft platforms (Entra, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.)
Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks (PowerShell required)
Support cloud migrations and integrations
Monitor and optimize system performance and cloud resource usage
Assist with cloud security measures and compliance standards
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and security teams on projects and incident response
Participate in process improvements and technical troubleshooting

Required

2–4 years of experience in cloud engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
Experience with Microsoft platforms such as Entra, Intune, or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
Good troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with Meraki network management
Experience with AWS, Bash, or Python
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Cloud networking expertise (VNets, VPNs, load balancers)
Multi-cloud or hybrid environment experience
Advanced troubleshooting and incident response
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
Experience in healthcare environments
