Responsibilities

Coordinate all pre-employment activities including background checks, documentation, and new hire orientation

Prepare and process new hire paperwork and ensure accurate setup in HR systems

Conduct onboarding sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, benefits, and procedures

Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, termination documentation, and final pay coordination

Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues

Enroll, update, and terminate employees in benefit programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)

Liaise with benefit vendors and brokers to ensure accurate and timely processing

Assist in annual benefits open enrollment and employee communications

Collect and process employee time and attendance records for payroll

Coordinate with Finance/Payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Verify payroll data including bonuses, deductions, and leaves

Maintain up-to-date employee records in HRIS and ensure compliance with payroll and tax regulations

Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files

Support compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws

Assist with HR reporting and audits as required

Help coordinate employee engagement and training initiatives
