Responsibilities

Collaborate on a diverse range of animation tasks, including keyframe, motion capture, in-game, or cinematic sequence work

Work alongside Animation Directors and Leads to maintain artistic consistency and project vision

Participate in the creative life of the studio through dailies, reviews, and department meetings

Translate feedback into high-quality movement that enhances the overall storytelling and player experience

Communicate with production teams to ensure creative and technical milestones are met

Qualification

Required

A strong grasp of animation principles, anatomy, and the ability to convey emotion through movement

Proficient experience in Autodesk Maya

A dedication to using research and reference to create grounded, believable performances

A professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment

A willingness to learn new workflows and problem-solve creative challenges

Preferred

Working understanding of Unreal Engine

Experience working with or cleaning up MoCap data

A passion for creature animation or nuanced facial performance

Experience animating for gameplay mechanics, including an understanding of state machines, transitions, and player feel
