They are seeking a Chief Financial & Analytics Officer (CFAO) to lead financial leadership, capital raising efforts, and performance intelligence across the organization. Responsibilities

Own financial planning across Allied Development and VestRight: forecasting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and executive reporting
Lead monthly close and ensure accurate consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Partner with leadership on strategic financial planning, decision support, and growth initiatives
Provide actionable insights—not just reports—that drive business decisions
Manage multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidated reporting
Build the data architecture that drives decision-making across the organization
Design KPI frameworks that measure what actually matters: advertising, marketing, sales, project economics, pipeline health, investor returns, operational efficiency
Own dashboards that provide real-time visibility into financial and operational performance
Implement predictive analytics for cash flow, project performance, and capital deployment
Transform raw data into strategic insights that inform growth strategy and capital allocation
Own the 'story behind the numbers'—leadership should never have to ask what the data means
Own the capital raising department from the ground up
Lead retail capital raising efforts and strategic capital relationships
Oversee capital raising infrastructure: investor CRM, pipeline management, deal tracking, and investor relations systems

Structure financing for land development deals and company growth initiatives
Create investor-ready financial models, presentations, pitch decks, and reporting packages
Establish metrics and accountability around capital pipeline, conversion rates, and close ratios
Advise leadership on capital structure, deal financing, optimal cash deployment, and investor return optimization
Build repeatable processes for investor communications, quarterly reporting, and relationship management
Design and execute capital recycling strategies to optimize deployment efficiency and accelerate deal velocity
Structure and manage investor distributions in accordance with operating agreements and waterfall provisions
Establish reserve policies and liquidity standards to ensure operational resilience and investor protection
Track and report capital losses, write-downs, and performance variances with transparency and accountability
Build investor distribution models that balance growth reinvestment with return expectations
Monitor liquidity thresholds across all entities and project-level capital accounts
Ensure compliance with capital call and distribution timing requirements
Own finance systems end-to-end (QuickBooks Online, connected tools, and the entire finance tech stack)
Build reporting workflows, automation, integrations, and process documentation
Improve internal controls across AP/AR, spend management, purchasing policies, and approval workflows
Drive continuous improvement in finance operations and reporting cadence
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that increase efficiency and insight quality
Leverage AI and automation to gain competitive advantage in financial operations
Implement AI-driven forecasting, scenario modeling, and anomaly detection
Automate routine reporting workflows to free capacity for strategic work
Evaluate and deploy emerging fintech solutions for efficiency gains and better insights
Build a modern, scalable finance tech stack that evolves with the business
Stay ahead of industry trends in finance technology and best practices
Track project/deal financials with rigor: budget-to-actual, approvals, cost discipline, margin tracking
Provide deal-level financial analysis and decision support for land acquisitions and development projects
Ensure margin capture and risk management on every project
Build financial models that support deal underwriting and investment decisions
Monitor project performance against pro formas and flag variances early
Oversee relationships with outside partners: tax advisors, auditors, insurance providers, and legal counsel as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect the business through sound financial practices
Manage lender relationships and debt covenant compliance where applicable

Required

7+ years in finance/accounting leadership (real estate experience strongly preferred)
Proven capital raising experience—you've structured deals, presented to investors, closed financing, and built investor relationships that resulted in substantial funding
Strong FP&A and financial modeling skills: forecasting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis, KPI development and reporting
Data-driven mindset: you don't just report numbers, you build the systems that generate insights and inform strategy
Demonstrated success improving processes, controls, and reporting systems—you've built finance functions, not just managed them
Systems-minded and comfortable owning finance tools, workflows, automation, and technology infrastructure
High accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally
Comfort with technology adoption, including AI and automation tools
Deep understanding of real estate capital structures: preferred returns, equity waterfalls, profit splits, LP/GP dynamics, and distribution mechanics
Proven experience managing capital recycling strategies, reserve policies, and liquidity management in growth-oriented businesses
Track record of transparent investor reporting including distributions, losses, and performance attribution
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
