Responsibilities
Performs as an expert in IT Plans and Programs for Columbus AFB. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Plans and Programs Flight
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over a limited staff
Provides overview and specific guidance for the management and administration for support, or Contingency Plans, and programming plans for the installation
Develops and maintains required programs to support mission needs. Represents the squadron with a variety of installation, multi-functional area organizations
Performs C4 System Base-Level Planning and Integration
Utilizes the required standard plans and programs tools required by the DOD and the Air Force

Males must be registered for Selective Service
The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
This position is emergency-essential
Must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing
Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving
One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11 (or equivalent in other pay systems)
Knowledge of C4 systems principles, operating techniques, concepts, and methodology
Knowledge of applicable safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of information technology (IT) management system requirements and application software development techniques
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small sized organization
Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish effective working relationships with others
Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances
