The role involves assisting residents with meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
Assists residents and guests, taking orders for meals and cleans tables after meals
Prepares and serves meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy and procedures
Cleans kitchen, washes dishes, and returns food to proper storage
Qualification
Required
Must hold a current food handling card as required by the state; we can assist you in getting this
Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions
Must be able to work full or part time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed; must have reliable transportation to work
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
Must meet all health requirements, including TB
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass criminal background check
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
